Originally from Zimbabwe, Africa is rooted deep into this clients bones and he wanted that connection to be evident in his home. In the hallway, we fitted an old armoire with mirrors and converted it into a glamorous liquor cabinet. Timber flooring throughout the home gives warmth and soul to the space, in the living room a jute rug anchors the lounge furniture where leather and the horns of two cattle heads recall back to a childhood on a farm in rural Africa. In the main bedroom a softer palette greets you and Marianna Keyser’s framed bird etchings form a monochromatic feature on the headboard wall.
